Does Grafieks store my data?​

Your data security is our priority. Grafieks never stores your raw data, allowing you to retain complete ownership and control. To generate reports or explore datasets, we execute SQL queries directly on your database. The results are then displayed safely in your browser.

Grafieks only stores a few things:

  • Metadata: The configuration details of your reports, dashboards, models, and more. This includes query definitions, descriptions, chart types, delivery schedules, and other settings.
  • Cache: Grafieks caches your reports, dashboards, and filters to improve performance and reduce database load. Cached data is temporary and expires automatically. Your data is never stored permanently on our servers.

What are the options for granting Grafieks access to my firewall-protected database?​

IP Whitelist: While whitelisting can be an option, it's important to prioritize security. To establish a secure connection, contact Grafieks support (support@grafiesk.com) using your registered email address. They'll guide you through the most secure method for your database setup.
