Connect to a real-time database

The first step for sourcing real-time data is to connect to a source that captures events. Currently, Grafieks Real-Time Analytics can connect to MySQL database only. For the addition of a new data source, you can connect with the Grafieks support team.

To access the data source configuration page:​

  1. Click on "Data Source" from the left-side menu and go to "All Data Source"
  2. Click on the "Create" button
  3. From the right side pane, click on the "Real-time Streaming" menu and then click on on the "Grafieks Real-Time Analytics" connector Or
  4. Click on the "Grafieks Real-Time Analytics" connector from the list of data connectors

Data connector

  1. Add a name to the data source and click on "Next"

  1. Enter the database credentials and click on "Next"
